Whether you’re an ARC reader, blogger, Substack writer, Bookstagrammer, or just someone who loves shouting about your latest read—you’re invited to join the team.
No pressure, no fancy graphics required, no “must post at 9am sharp” energy. Just a simple, fun way to support authors and score perks for doing it.
What Is a Virtual Book Tour?
A virtual book tour is basically a scheduled group shoutout. An author has a new release, a cover reveal, or a book that needs a little extra love—and a team of readers signs up to post about it during a set window (usually 1 or 2 weeks).
As a host, you’ll be assigned a specific day to share about the book.
You’ll get everything you need upfront—graphics, captions, links—so it’s easy to copy/paste or customize. You can even pre-schedule your post.
What I Ask From Tour Hosts
Post on your assigned date (during the tour window—no surprises!)
Use the provided content (or tweak it to sound like you)
Tag the author and @literaryinspired so we can shout you out
If you’re doing a review and didn’t love the book, you can always switch to a promo post instead—no forced praise here
Let me know if something comes up and you can’t post. Life happens. Just don’t ghost, please.
What I Ask From Authors
Provide ARCs at least 2–4 weeks ahead of the tour
Send me all your details (blurb, links, promo graphics, etc.) by the deadline
Let me know what you’re open to—interviews, Q&As, giveaways, etc.
Respect the time and effort hosts are giving—especially if they’re reading for free

A one-day event to show off a shiny new cover (graphics and captions included, of course).
🚀 New Release Tours
A 2 week promotional push around launch day—promo posts, reviews, or both.
✨ Book Boost Tours
For already-published titles that need a little extra love to find new readers.
⭐ Review Tours
Focus is on reader feedback. These are ARC-based, with reviews posted on specific days.
🎤 Author Features
Think interviews, Substack guest spots, or themed social content (optional and fun!).
